The Ohio Medicaid Schools Program (MSP)

The Medicaid Schools Program (MSP) has been developed to include federal Medicaid matching funding for specific direct services (including targeted case management), certain administrative activities, and specialized transportation. Primary participants include school districts and community schools, but other entities may be involved in the program through contracts or back claiming. The MSP program is coordinated jointly between the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) and the Ohio Department of Education (ODE).
