Business Professionals of America, Ohio Association is an integral part of Career-Technical Education programs within the Ohio Department of Education. Its mission is to contribute to the preparation of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills. Membership is open to students in career-tech programs that prepare them for careers in business and administrative services, financial services, marketing, or information technology career fields.
To support its goals, the Ohio Association sponsors three annual conferences. For secondary BPA members, the Fall Leadership Conference is held in November and the State Leadership Conference is in March. The postsecondary State Leadership Conference is held in February.
In addition to conference information, the links below contain resources to assist with effective local chapter operation and integration of BPA goals into the secondary career-tech curriculum. Scholarship opportunities for BPA members are also identified.
