Welcome to the Proficiency Tests Archive page. The Ohio Department of Education has created this page for reference only.
Beginning with the high school graduating class of 2007, students must pass all five parts of the Ohio Graduation Tests (OGT) in order to receive high school diplomas. The OGT replaces the Ohio Ninth-Grade Proficiency Tests, which were tests aligned to learning outcomes. For information on the OGT, please enter the keyword OGT in the search box above.
In addition, fourth- and sixth-grade proficiency tests have been replaced with the grade-expanded Ohio Achievement Tests (OAT). For information on the OAT, please enter the keyword OAT in the search box above.
