LPDC Registration and Approved Signatures

The New Online LPDC Registration Module is now LIVE!
|
- The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) has created a new web-based product for online Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) registration and updates. Product testing was completed in October 2012, and the online registration system is now available for all LPDCs.
- This new online system enables ESCs, school districts and schools to request new LPDC registrations, to renew existing LPDC registrations, and to update LPDC address and staffing information. The LPDC data will update the ODE OEDS-R system and contribute to ODE's planned transition to more automated and efficient processing of eductor licensure renewals.
- ESCs, school districts and schools can now register their LPDCs online using the new CORE LPDC Public module.

Thanks to all of the Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) coordinators who have already registered their LPDC for 2012-2013 using the old registration method.
ODE is rolling out a NEW LPDC online registration system, which is much more efficient than the old system, and which will work with the NEW online licensure application and payment system.
We ask that you please re-register for 2012 using the new CORE LPDC Public module. It should require only 5 minutes or less to request registration for a new or existing LPDC using the new system.

All approved signers must have a SAFE account.

Sign in and access the LPDC Registration module through your ODE CORE link.

Before you begin please

Make sure the approved signers each have a State ID and their SAFE accounts contain a phone number and email address

After your registration is approved
-
You will receive an email confirmation which will include your LPDC IRN#

Use this LPDC IRN# on all LPDC related renewals - on hard copy and online applications

In order for applicants to apply online, there must be at least one LPDC signer who is an e-signer.

Sign in and access the My Educator Profile module through your ODE CORE link

Click on My Approvals

The first time the signer accesses 'My Approvals', they will be asked to complete the 'Enroll Me' process

Once this is complete you are an e-signer and your LPDC is registered for online applications
