Professional Development – Assessment

The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) created three-day teacher trainings on how to write and score assessment questions.

The first day focuses on knowing the difference between good and bad test questions and how to write and review multiple choice questions. The second day focuses on how to develop constructed response questions and how to create the rubrics related to these questions. The third day focuses on how to score these questions – both multiple choice and constructed response.

Materials from this professional development are below. Click on the titles to open the documents.
