State Grants
Safe and Drug Free Schools Sustainability Plus Grant
The Safe and Drug Free School (SDFS) Sustainability Plus Grant supports Local Education Agencies (LEAs) in the reduction and elimination of nonacademic barriers that improve safe and supportive learning environments, resulting in increased academic achievement. The $50,000 grant is administered by the Office of Family and Community Support. Eligible applicants for the grant include public school districts, educational service centers and career-technical centers eligible for Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities Act funding. School and community based personnel who are content experts in the identified risk areas are required members of the SDFS sustainability grant team.

Federal Grant Programs
Title IV-Part A -- Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities -- The purpose of Title IV is to support programs that prevent violence in and around schools; prevent the illegal use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs; involve parents and communities; and are coordinated with related federal, state, school and community efforts and resources.
US Department of Education Funding Opportunities -- The U.S. Department of Education provides funding to states and school districts, primarily through formula-based grant programs, to improve elementary and secondary schools and meet the special needs of students.

Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Funding Opportunities -- OJJDP provides funding to states, territories, localities and private organizations through block grants and discretionary funding.
