Ohio’s Academic Content Standards in science are made up of six standards.
- Earth and Space Sciences
- Life Sciences
- Physical Sciences
- Science and Technology
- Scientific Inquiry
- Scientific Ways of Knowing
The State Board of Education voted on Feb. 14, 2006, to modify the Grade 10 Life Science Benchmark H and Indicator 23 contained within the Science Academic Content Standards K-12. These modifications have been made within the online Science Academic Standards. To see the Board’s revisions in order to make corrections to print copies, please click here.

Each also contains introductory sections, instructional commentary, a glossary and a resource list.
